Your profile is public by default. This means other users can see your profile page and the songs you've created.
You can make your profile private at any time. When private:
Songs you create are public by default. They appear in the Cypher index where others can find and listen to them.
Comments you leave on battles are permanent and always visible. This preserves conversation context for all users.
Important: Making your profile private does NOT hide your existing comments. Your username will still appear, but it won't be clickable (visitors can't access your profile).
We take your personal information seriously. Here's what we collect and how it's protected:
Your email address and real name are never shown publicly. They are encrypted and only accessible to system administrators for account support purposes.
You can delete your account at any time through your account settings. Here's what happens when you do:
Note: Account deletion is permanent. Your songs and comments remain to preserve the community experience, but your profile page will show "Account Inactive" to visitors.
Ready to adjust your privacy settings?
From your profile page, use the menu (three dots) to toggle your profile between public and private. For individual songs, use the menu on each battle card to publish or unpublish.
